Today has been a busy day with the rendezvous and arrival of the #Cygnus supply ship which launched earlier in the week. Tim Kopra did some excellent work operating the robotic arm to capture the spacecraft as it hovered just a few meters away from Station. It appeared on the distant horizon early this morning and slowly approached to within reach late morning. After capturing it with the arm with the help of the Mission Control Team in Houston we will get it attached to the Unity Module with the plan to open the hatches tomorrow The spacecraft is named SS Rick Husband in honor of the commander of the STS-107 mission. On that flight the crew of the space shuttle Columbia was lost during re-entry on Feb. 1 2003. by astro_jeffw
